Engagement Photos in Cuyahoga Valley National Park: Kendall Ledges

S & R let me know they love hiking local trails in Northeast Ohio, so we decided on the Ledges trailhead at Cuyahoga Valley National Park for their engagement session. Ledges is an excellent location for couples sessions, and feels especially epic for engagement and wedding photos. The scenery is so diverse, from rock formations, to sprawling meadows, to wooded trails.

And it did not disappoint during this session! We met at dawn and the soft light and empty park made for a gorgeous and peaceful location to highlight these two’s love for one another. The fall leaves were also just starting to change, so we had some great pops of color, especially near the main overlook.

And what’s better than having photos done in a location that is meaningful to you and centered around an activity you love? Nothing, and it shows!
